심연 The Abyss (2025)
고립된 감정의 심층으로 침잠하는 과정을 통해, 그 바닥에서 마주하는 ‘환희’의 가능성을 이야기한다.
짙은 남청의 바탕 위에 서로 다른 밀도와 리듬을 지닌 두 종류의 선은, 생각과 감정의 흐름이 충돌하고 교차하는 장면을 형상화한 것이다. 이 선들은 색의 대비, 형태의 대비를 통해 이중성을 드러낸다. 그것은 부정과 긍정, 과거와 미래, 혹은 고요와 소란일 수도 있다. 서로 다른 두 흐름은 하나의 화면 안에서 공존하며, 깊은 심연 속에 내재된 환희를 드러낸다.
This work explores the process of descending into the depths of isolated emotions, revealing the possibility of 'ecstasy' encountered at the bottom.
Against a deep navy blue background, two types of lines with different densities and rhythms visualize the collision and intersection of thoughts and emotions. These lines reveal duality through contrasts in color and form—negation and affirmation, past and future, or perhaps stillness and turmoil. The two distinct flows coexist within a single frame, exposing the ecstasy inherent within the deep abyss.
